Essential Job Duties:
- Warmly greet members, in person and on the phone, always using the member's name whenever possible.
- "Profile" members, using active listening and skilled questioning, and determine individual financial services needs.
- Educate members about credit union products, services and delivery systems.
- Ensure that knowledge is obtained in the area of features and benefits associated with all ARHCU products and/or services.
- Promote electronic access for all members and set up TouchTeller, ATM or ATM/Visa Check card, direct deposit/payroll deduction, On-line banking and Bill Pay.
- Set up savings, checking, Money Market, IRA, certificate and trust accounts. Ensure completeness and accuracy of all required paperwork.
- Properly disclose rates, fees, Truth-in-Savings, Delayed Availability of Funds, Electronic Funds Transfer and other required disclosures.
- Issue temporary personalized checks and place check orders.
- Process loan applications, conduct loan interviews, obtain credit reports and prepare loan work-ups. Approve or deny loan requests within established guidelines.
- Input loans/fund loans and obtain necessary signatures on required documents to complete loan requests. Ensure loan documentation is in compliance with regulatory and auditing standards.
- Promptly complete and mail Adverse Action Notices.
- Accurately process transactions on existing member accounts, including deposit and loan account transfers, check requests, line of credit advances, change of address notices, check re-orders, wire transfer requests, ATM/Visa Check card replacements, payroll deductions, stop payments and other maintenance items as requested by members.
- Promptly and accurately respond to member requests concerning account discrepancies or errors. Ensure timely follow-up with members.
- Represent ARHCU at community or sponsor company events.
- In conjunction with Branch Managers, assist with member drives, SEG events, product promotions, business development activities,etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years lending experience in a bank, credit union or other financial environment. Please detail your customer contact experience on application.Pay Rate:
