Board of Directors

Robert E. Logue III, Chairperson of the Board

Robert Logue was first elected to the Board in 1994. He is the Director of Business Operations at DST Output where he has been employed for the last 20 years. Bob graduated in 1979 with a bachelor of arts in microbiology/chemistry. He and his wife, Deborah, have lived in Sacramento since 1983 and have two wonderful children, Cora and Kaysie. Bob helped teach a class in Upper Extremity Prosthetics at UCLA for 11 years. His hobbies include traveling, wine tasting, camping, NASCAR, fishing and flying.

Mark Stomsvik, Vice Chairsperson

First elected to the Board in 1981, Mark is a native of Sacramento. Mark received his Masters in Business Administration in Finance in 1986. He is Vice President of Operations with Fidelity National where he has worked for over 10 years. Mark was elected to the Board of Directors while employed at Aerojet. Mark is happily married to his lovely wife, Christine Hetzel.

Richard Klein, Secretary

Dick Klein, Certified Public Accountant, was first elected to the Board in 1981. He is a Senior Reimbursement Analyst for Sutter Health where he has been employed for over 25 years. Born in La Salle Illinois, Dick has lived in Sacramento for over 25 years. He has two children and three grandchildren. Dick received his Bachelors of Science in 1989. He devotes much of his time working with children in a variety of Youth Sports Programs. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, gardening and softball.

Paul Skelly, Treasurer

From 1980 to 1983 Paul Skelly served on the Supervisory Committee. In 1983 he was elected to the Board. He was born in Los Angeles and received his Masters Degree in 1969. Paul has lived in Sacramento since 1979 and has been a part of the adjunct faculty in the Graduate School of Business with National University since 1983. Paul and wife Sherry have three children together. Paul enjoys reading, hiking, fine red wines and reading the best current books on Financial Theory and Economics. He also likes teaching others about Portfolio Theories and Corporate Financial Management.

Ray Howe, Director

Ray Howe was first elected to the Board in 1984 and has served for 22 years. Ray attended the Hafstra University in New York. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he has enjoyed Sacramento for 45 years. Ray is retired from Aerojet where he worked for 33 years. Ray and his wife Lillian have five children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Ray's current interests are automobiles, traveling and reading.

Edmund N. Smith, Director

Ed Smith was elected to the Board in 1981. He is a Senior Accountant, Contract Administrator for Bloodsource. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford in 1964 and earned his Masters in Business Administration from Golden Gate University in 1981. Serving on both the Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors, Ed has served for three credit unions. Born in Washington D.C., Ed has lived in Sacramento for 30 years and has been employed by the Bloodsource for 26 years. Ed was a Lieutenant in the US Navy Supply Corp. and served for 10 years. Ed and his wife Rita have 1 child and 4 grandchildren together. Ed enjoys Tax Preparation, Investment Planning and traveling- especially cruises.

 

Supervisory Committee

Gary L. Smith, Chairsperson

Gary Smith was first elected to the Supervisory Committee in 1973. He is a Healthcare Consultant / Lobbyist who is semi-retired from Sutter Health. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting/Business Administration from UCY in 1973. Gary served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army for two years. Gary has one child and one grandchild. Gary enjoys NASCAR and is an admirer of Corvettes. He is married to his lovely wife, Charity Smith.

Tom Hulsman

Thomas Hulsmann was elected in 2004 to ARHCU's Supervisory Committee. He studied in San Francisco and received his Bachelors of Science for Accounting in 1992. Thomas is a Director of Accounting at the Bloodsource. Thomas and his wife Maureen have two children together. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys volleyball and golf.

Jolyn Lenz

Ann Leu

Ann Leu was first elected to the Board in 1990 and has served for 16 years. She is Vice President of Ancillary & Support Services with Mercy General Hospital/CHW, where she has been employed for 30 years. A native of Sacramento, she received her Bachelors of Science in 1973. Ann and her husband Merlin have two children and three grandchildren together. Ann's hobbies include, traveling, wine tasting, camping, gardening and collecting Southwestern/Mexican pottery.
