Some members have experienced difficultly managing their expenses. Because of this, they find themselves shut out of the banking system after mismanaging their checking accounts and being reported to ChexSystems. American River HealthPro Credit Union's Fresh Start Program allows you to open an account if you have had non-sufficient fund activity and excessive overdrafts.

Who Is It For:

• For new or existing members with ChexSystems recrds, have unpaid collections items that are more than 24 months past, and a credit score between 600-500.
  
  
• ChexSystems record that show unpaid collection items at other institutions less than 24 months must show paid items or member must provide proof item was paid. Credit score between 600-500.
  
  
• Members who had a previous ARHCU charge off on a Checking, Savings or Loans must provide proof account was paid. Credit score between 600-500.
  
  
• Members with ChexSystems record of any type of fraud activity are ineligible.
  
  

ARHCU Fresh Start account requirements:

If members have direct deposit-

• Members may have an ATM Card and/or ARHCU Visa® Credit Card issued after the first direct deposit is posted to the account. (Courtesy Pay is not available for these accounts.)

Members with no direct deposit-

• Members who successfully maintain the account for 6 months in good standing from the date the account was opened may have an ATM Card and/or ARHCU Visa® Credit Card issued. (Courtesy Pay is not available for these accounts.)
